Brawl Stars Balance Changes Detailed
Brawl Stars has detailed a wide balance pass that buffs a large group of Brawlers, applies targeted nerfs to others and gives Chuck a substantial Super rework. The changes are not built around one universal adjustment: they touch healing, damage, health, cooldowns, projectile speed, shields, charge rates and several named Gadgets and Star Powers. That makes the update a collection of individual kit changes rather than a single system-wide rule change.
Among the buffs, Jae-Yong’s main attack heal rises from 650 to 750, while The Crowd Goes Mild increases its speed boost from 10% to 15%. Bea receives both a shorter Rattle Hive cooldown, dropping from 24 seconds to 20 seconds, and a Super damage increase from 100 to 130. Other direct offensive boosts include Janet’s main attack damage moving from 1,000 to 1,100, Bo’s from 640 to 700, and Jessie’s Super Turret damage from 260 to 300. The list also includes utility and survivability adjustments, such as Hank gaining health from 5,200 to 5,500 and Melodie gaining health from 3,800 to 4,000. In practical terms, the changes reach multiple parts of a Brawler kit: some improve regular attacks, some strengthen Super access or output, and others make a selected Gadget or Star Power more impactful.

Chuck’s Super shifts toward control
Chuck is the most extensively redesigned Brawler in the balance notes. His Super no longer charges over time, but he begins matches with a full Super instead. The Super now has four charges as its baseline. The stated direction is a trade of infinite charge and raw dash power for greater control and a Super that is immediately available at the beginning of a match. Several accompanying reductions set the limits of that new arrangement. Chuck’s health falls from 4,700 to 4,400, the shield on his Super is reduced from 50% to 35%, and placing poles no longer causes knockback. His Super Dash damage is cut from 1,750 to 800, while dash speed drops from 3,700 to 3,200.
The rework also changes Chuck’s main attack. Its damage falloff is removed, but its range is reduced from 20 to 18 and its projectile speed rises from 1,750 to 2,700. Taken together, those details distinguish the redesign from a simple nerf or buff: Chuck retains a match-opening Super and gains faster attack projectiles, while the prior strength of repeated charging, longer reach, knockback and high dash damage is reduced. Elsewhere in the nerf group, Ash receives a 15% reduction to Tank Trait Super Charge gained from taking damage. Wendy has Super Charge Rate reduced by 20%, alongside reductions to shield damage charge, Super Shield Generator health and its damage reduction. Nori loses health, slash damage and Gadget availability through a longer Sushi Snack cooldown. These are specific reductions to different sources of pressure rather than identical cuts across every affected Brawler.
Key changes at a glance
The balance pass also includes several notable changes outside Chuck’s redesign. Tara’s Black Portal Shadow gains health from 3,400 to 4,000 and damage from 800 to 1,000, while Healing Shade Shadow receives higher health and healing. Leon’s Clone Projector is strengthened dramatically: the clone’s attack range rises from 5 to 25, its damage from 200 to 800, and its movement speed is increased to match Leon’s. On the nerf side, Max has an 8% Super Charge Rate reduction and longer cooldowns on both Phase Shifter and Sneaky Sneakers. Rico’s Robo Retreat maximum speed, Multiball Launcher availability and Bouncy Castle damage are all reduced. The notes additionally mark a separate Brawl Arena-only section, meaning those tweaks should be read apart from the broader Brawler balance changes.
- Buff examples: Colette’s Super Charge Rate increases by 10%, Eve spawns four Hatchlings with her Super instead of three, and Buster’s Utility Belt heal rises from 450 to 600.
- Nerf examples: Meg’s Toolbox cooldown rises from 22 seconds to 25 seconds, Griff’s Coin Shower cooldown rises from 15 seconds to 18 seconds, and Brock’s Hypercharge Buffie damage falls from 60% to 40%.

| Balance area | Confirmed adjustment |
|---|---|
| Chuck Super | Starts matches fully charged and has four baseline charges; it no longer charges over time. |
| Brawl Arena only | Colt’s damage scaling is reduced from 3 to 2, while Crow’s damage scaling increases from 4 to 6. |
This balance update combines broad tuning with a more fundamental redesign for Chuck. Buffed Brawlers receive improvements across attacks, Supers, Gadgets and Star Powers, while the nerfs reduce selected charge generation, shields, damage and cooldown efficiency. Chuck stands apart because his Super’s availability and charge model change at the same time as its dash power is lowered. The separate Brawl Arena-only section further keeps mode-specific scaling adjustments distinct from the main balance pass.
