El Primo and Amber Receive New Buffies
El Primo and Amber are receiving new Buffies that add effects across established Gadgets, Star Powers and Hypercharges. The update gives El Primo more ways to act aggressively while becoming tankier, moving more effectively and surviving longer. It also makes fire a larger part of his kit, including through his punches. Amber’s changes take a different route: her oil is intended to provide more presence on the map, more chances to take space and more opportunities to buff herself. Her revised tools add barrels, movement near fire and Fire Fluid, and further ways to apply or extend fire status.
The changes retain the named tools already associated with both Brawlers, then attach a distinct Buffied effect to them. For El Primo, Suplex Supplement adds area damage at the end of its grab-and-throw sequence, while Asteroid Belt now turns projectile destruction into Super charge. His later upgrades add a shield, burn extension and larger fire-inflicting punches. Amber receives a second Oil Barrel from Fire Starters and a personal movement-and-contact-damage effect from Dancing Flames. Her other Buffies connect her speed and fire status to fire, Fire Fluid and her main attack projectiles. This provides a direct patch reference for readers who want the stated values and durations, while the wider pattern explains the different goals for the two Brawlers.

El Primo gains pressure and protection
Suplex Supplement remains a dash in which El Primo grabs the first Brawler hit and suplexes that target behind him. Its Buffied effect makes him slam the enemy into the ground when they land, dealing 800 damage in an area. The Gadget therefore keeps its displacement while gaining damage at the landing point. Asteroid Belt still has El Primo flex and destroy incoming projectiles for 2 seconds. Under its Buffied effect, every projectile destroyed also charges his Super. The two Gadget reworks serve separate parts of his kit: Suplex Supplement adds an area-damage finish to a grabbed target, and Asteroid Belt connects its projectile destruction to Super charge.
El Primo’s Star Powers and Hypercharge continue the same direction. El Fuego makes enemies caught in his Super burn for 900 damage over 4 seconds. Its Buffied effect extends that burn by 1.5 seconds when El Primo punches an enemy already on fire. Meteor Rush grants a 25% speed boost for 4 seconds after he uses his Super, and that speed boost now also grants a 30% shield. Gravity Leap still has El Primo leap high and drop an Intergalactic Elbow that pulls enemies to the epicenter. Its Buffied effect makes his punches 20% larger and lights enemies on fire for 400 damage over 2 seconds. Taken together, the additions support the stated aim of giving the Tank more flair and agency through aggression, survivability, mobility and stronger punches.
Amber receives more oil and fire options
Amber’s Buffies focus on making oil more useful for space control and on increasing her presence on the map. Fire Starters summons an Oil Barrel with 3500 health that spills oil when destroyed. Amber can now deploy 2 barrels. Dancing Flames continues to create 3 orbiting flames for 5 seconds, dealing 945 damage on hit. The Buffied effect coats Amber in flames, gives her 20% movement speed and deals 400 damage to enemies she touches. That means the Gadget retains its orbiting flames while also giving Amber personal movement and contact damage. These details give readers a practical comparison between the extra oil available from Fire Starters and the movement-focused addition attached to Dancing Flames.
- El Primo’s Suplex Supplement gains an 800-damage area slam, and destroyed projectiles from Asteroid Belt now charge his Super.
- El Fuego can extend an existing burn by 1.5 seconds; Meteor Rush combines its 25% speed boost with a 30% shield.
- Fire Starters can place 2 Oil Barrels with 3500 health, while Dancing Flames adds 20% movement speed and 400 touch damage.
- Wild Flames grants 15% speed near fire or Fire Fluid; Scorching Siphon adds 1 second to fire status and Oil Spill projectiles apply it.

| Brawler and named tool | Buffied effect |
|---|---|
| El Primo — Gravity Leap | Punches become 20% larger and inflict 400 fire damage over 2 seconds. |
| El Primo — Asteroid Belt | Incoming projectiles destroyed during its 2-second effect also charge his Super. |
| Amber — Dancing Flames | Amber is coated in flames, gains 20% movement speed and deals 400 damage to enemies she touches. |
| Amber — Oil Spill | Main attack projectiles apply fire status like lit petrol. |
Amber’s remaining changes deepen the fire-and-oil focus. Wild Flames makes Fire Fluid sticky, attaching it to Brawlers and leaving a trail of oil while they move; its Buffied effect grants Amber 15% increased movement speed when she is near fire or Fire Fluid. Scorching Siphon reloads ammo when an enemy takes fire damage from burning oil, rather than her main attack, and now increases fire-status duration by 1 second. Oil Spill increases the Super’s oil-spill area and keeps oil burning for 3 seconds after ignition, while its Buffied projectiles apply fire status like lit petrol. Using Amber’s Super also does not remove her old Super oil. El Primo’s additions emphasize tankier pressure and larger fire-inflicting punches, whereas Amber’s emphasize oil, fire status and map presence.
