How to Unlock Jormungandr Doug Free

Jormungandr Doug can be unlocked free through the limited Supercell Make Skin Challenge running from September 12 through September 22. The route asks for nine wins across three stages and allows four chances. Each victory also awards a Starr Drop, so a completed run produces nine drops before the Epic skin is claimed at the end.

The structure is easy to understand but demanding to finish. Every stage requires three wins and changes both the mode and map. Stage one uses Brawl Ball on Grassknob. Stage two moves to Knockout on Flaring Phoenix. Stage three finishes with Bounty on Shooting Star. A team that prepares for only one type of fight will therefore meet a different problem after every third win.

Jormungandr Doug is the winning design from the Supercell Make community campaign. The cosmetic draws on the world serpent from Norse mythology and turns Doug into the central character of that theme. Supercell Make begins with community skin submissions and voting before a selected design is developed for the game. In this event, the winning cosmetic is attached to a playable challenge instead of being presented only as a shop purchase.

A stage-by-stage route to nine wins

Grassknob comes first, which makes Brawl Ball coordination the opening test. SportsDunia suggests El Primo, Nori and Wendy for this stage. Those names offer a starting point, while players still need a composition that can advance or protect the ball and communicate around the available cover. Three wins open the next stage.

Flaring Phoenix changes the format to Knockout, where every lost engagement carries more weight because each round has a single life. Griff, Piper and Edgar are the reported suggestions. Shooting Star then closes the run in Bounty, with Gus, Brock and Pierce highlighted. Long sight lines and disciplined positioning make the final stage a different test from the close-range pressure a team may have used at the beginning.

The four-chance limit makes consistency more valuable than rushing. Playing with friends improves communication, especially when deciding when to break walls or commit a Super. Wall-breaking Gadgets can reshape a lane, and a planned use preserves any cover the team still needs. Saving a Super for a decisive push or defensive exchange is usually more valuable than spending it at the first opportunity. These are practical planning principles for the route.

Players should also adapt between stages. Grassknob and Shooting Star reward different ranges and lane plans, while a Brawl Ball composition may need a new balance of range and survivability in Knockout. The challenge gives a Starr Drop after each win, so every victory follows a visible reward path. The full goal remains three wins in each stage before the September 22 deadline.

Practical preparation before entering

Start with a planned composition for the current map, then agree on how the team will use wall breaks and Supers. If possible, keep the same group together so adjustments carry from one attempt to the next. After advancing, pause and rebuild the composition for the new mode. Treating each stage as a separate assignment can protect the limited chances.

  • Stage one: three Brawl Ball wins on Grassknob.
  • Stage two: three Knockout wins on Flaring Phoenix.
  • Stage three: three Bounty wins on Shooting Star.
  • Final reward: the Epic Jormungandr Doug skin, with one Starr Drop per win along the route.

One Brawl Ball — Grassknob El Primo, Nori, Wendy
Two KnockoutFlaring Phoenix Griff, Piper, Edgar
Three BountyShooting Star Gus, Brock, Pierce

The challenge rewards preparation more than improvisation. Nine wins, three distinct maps and only four chances leave little room for a one-composition approach. Players who treat each stage as its own assignment, review the next map before queuing and coordinate their limited resources have the clearest route to Jormungandr Doug and all nine Starr Drops before the event closes.
