KairosTime Details 40 Balance Changes
A broad Brawl Stars balance pass is due during the week of September 13, with 40 adjustments spread across Brawlers, Gadgets, Star Powers and Hyper-related effects. KairosTime recorded most of his preview before the changes and tested selected examples on a developer build. The list therefore offers an early view of the direction: several powerful utility tools lose uptime or strength, while a group of other kits receive durability, damage or healing improvements.
Shade receives one of the heaviest packages. Passive Super charge near enemies is reduced by 15 percent, Long Arms moves from an 18-second cooldown to 20 seconds, the Jump Scare radius shrinks by 40 percent, and the extra attack damage attached to the Hyper effect drops from 75 percent to 30 percent. El Primo is also being slowed down across several tools: Asteroid Belt rises from 16 seconds to 20, projectile destruction supplies half as much Super charge, Meteor Rush lasts three seconds instead of four, and the related shield falls from 20 percent to 15.
Amber’s barrel health falls from 3,500 to 2,600, the oil trail lasts one second instead of three, and the reported burn damage falls from 1,000 to 480. Gus’s Knockback Spirit cooldown rises from 10 seconds to 18, while Health Bonanza moves from 100 percent bonus healing to 75 percent. Nori’s Hypercharge charge rate falls by 44 percent. Brock’s Rocket Laces cooldown rises from 20 seconds to 22, while his Super recharge drops by 13 percent. Meg keeps knockback on the explosion while the projectile itself loses that effect.

The biggest buffs and mixed changes
The buff side is led by straightforward improvements. Belle’s attack rises from 2,080 to 2,280. Ollie’s attack moves from 1,800 to 2,000. Willow reload speed improves by 10 percent and her health rises from 6,600 to 7,200. Juju moves from 6,200 to 7,000 health and gains 15 percent Super charge. R-T’s damage reduction while split increases from 20 percent to 25 percent. Trunk’s ant movement bonus rises from 25 percent to 30, while the higher Super charge lets the demonstration reach Super in four hits instead of five.
Support kits receive several notable increases. Poco’s Tuning Fork healing rises from 1,000 to 1,400, while Da Capo’s bonus moves from 640 to 800 and brings the demonstrated total from 1,040 to 1,200. Pam’s turret healing rises from 1,000 to 1,200 per second. Chuck’s Pit Stop lasts two seconds instead of one, slows by 30 percent instead of 20, and the area damage doubles from 200 to 400. These changes target repeatable utility across several different kits.
Wendy sits between the buff and nerf columns. Her health rises from 4,000 to 5,000, while several defensive values are reduced. The respawn shield is listed at 2,000, the attack shield moves from 1,160 to 600, and the Solar Shield turret bonus falls from 2,000 to 1,200. That combination shifts power into Wendy herself while reducing the protection supplied by the rest of the kit.
The complete package touches burst, sustain, control and ability frequency across many separate mechanics. Players can treat the numbers as a pre-release preview and confirm the final values in the live build after maintenance. The developer-build demonstrations are most useful for understanding direction and scale while the update is still approaching.
What to check after maintenance
Cooldown increases will be felt in how often a tool can rescue a position, while health and healing buffs will change how long a team can hold ground. Shade and El Primo users should pay particular attention to ability timing. Poco, Pam and Willow users can test whether the extra sustain changes previously close exchanges. Wendy needs a fresh evaluation because the base-health gain arrives alongside weaker shields and a less durable turret.
- Recheck cooldown habits for Shade, El Primo, Gus and Brock.
- Test the increased sustain on Poco, Pam, Willow and Juju.
- Treat Wendy as a redistribution of power across health, shields and turret support.

| Reported adjustment group | Representative changes |
|---|---|
| Major reductions | Shade utility, El Primo tools, Amber oil and Gus cooldown |
| Direct improvements | Belle and Ollie damage, Willow health and reload |
| Support improvements | Poco healing, Pam turret and Chuck control |
| Mixed package | More Wendy health with weaker shields and turret |
The scale of the pass matters, but the distribution matters more. The strongest reductions target repeated control, protection and ability access, while the buffs give several Brawlers clearer baseline value. KairosTime places the changes during the week of September 13, and the final live values will guide builds and competitive preparation after maintenance.
